I always thought no area in GW would beat Pre-searing Foible's Fair and surroundings for me, but today I found a view which rivals it quite well.
You guys go and guess where this is

Isn't that from the bluffs overlooking the northern coast of Shing Jea?
I know I've stopped to look at that view as well.

Port down of Jaya Bluffs. I always hated not being able to reach it, although the path is clearly visible but closed.

my favorite place to be in general is "Henge of denravi"
my 2nd favorite place to be sometimes is "Serenity Temple", but thats just to be somewhere near low lvls, and stand afk there
denravi however, has the npc's i need, and much better looking, also not much people, so no lag if its a "bad connection day"
the perfect afk, stand (stand while chat) and think-about-stuff place... for me

Pre-Searing, the Crystal Desert, Mineral Springs, Gads Encampment; nevermind, the whole game is an oil painting.

Have to go with pre-searing.
Surprised they never designed an expansion that took players back.

Ice Tooth, ToA, Beetletun, Bergen, Yaks, Foibles, Serenity, Maguuma's Stade, Rata Sum, ...Vabbi in general.

Me too. Been working on LDoA forever. I've not been through much of Factions or Nightfall and there are some parts of EotN that I like but Pre-Searing wins hands down.

Pre-searing, five years and thousands of hours later and that place is still incredible.

pre-Searing!
Areas covered in Hills.
Forests.
Catacombs.
Secret Gardens.
Villages.
Springs and rivers...
It's like Galicia, but without fires in summer...
Until the Charr came... grnft...
I wish we could travel in there in parties of 8. It would be awesome for role-players.
As a matter of fact, there should be a role-play mode, that allows up to 16 people to team up and travel in empty areas, in which the leader can spawn enemies that give no loot or ex for roleplaying purposes.
Even if that worked only in pre-Searing, it would be awesome.
